StopHazing Welcomes Abby Boyer as New Policy and Prevention Specialist
StopHazing, leading national organization dedicated to hazing prevention and education, today announced the addition of Abigail (Abby) Boyer as Policy and Prevention Specialist. Abby will serve in this part-time role, providing critical leadership for policy and prevention initiatives related to hazing and its intersections with other forms of interpersonal violence.
In this new role, Abby will play a pivotal role in supporting institutions with the implementation of the Stop Campus Hazing Act (SCHA), working closely with StopHazing staff to translate policy to practice for diverse audiences, and assisting with training and resource development. Her expertise will be instrumental in StopHazing’s commitment to providing educational materials to support colleges, universities, and schools in their hazing prevention efforts.

Abby’s responsibilities will encompass a broad range of strategic initiatives, including:
- Providing guidance on Stop Campus Hazing Act implementation, resource development, and policy support for institutions
- Serving as Project Manager for new online hazing prevention modules and other educational tools
- Contributing to content creation and refinement of StopHazing resources, including toolkits, guides, and educational materials
- Co-facilitating webinars, workshops, and professional development opportunities
The position reflects StopHazing’s continued commitment to expanding its capacity to serve educational institutions and communities seeking to prevent hazing and create safer environments for students.
