Hazing Prevention Rubric©™:
Based on the Hazing Prevention Framework©™ (HPF), the Hazing Prevention Rubric©™ (HPR) is the only evidence-informed self-assessment tool for institutions to assess, benchmark, and set goals for campus hazing prevention. This rubric allows campus professionals to assess institutional efforts across each of the eight components of the HPF: commitment, capacity, assessment, planning, evaluation, cultural competence, sustainability, and implementation. After completing the HPR, member campuses will have the opportunity to participate in follow-up consultations with StopHazing staff to discuss rubric results, campus strengths, potential areas of improvement, and goals for the upcoming academic year.
Hazing Prevention Website Assessment©™:
Grounded in the Hazing Prevention Framework©™ (HPF), the work of the Hazing Prevention Consortium©™ (HPC), and an analysis of leading college and university hazing prevention websites, StopHazing member institutions will receive access to a rubric to aid in self-assessment and improvement of institutional hazing prevention webpages. As more institutions are developing hazing prevention websites and reporting pages, this is the only data-informed resource to support institutions in building and refining their websites. This tool supports campuses not only for compliance with policies and state laws, but for developing a website as an effective prevention strategy.
